Depiction Wines

Born in a small estate of wine production located in the famous Napa Valley, the Depiction project brings hand-crafted wine and fine art together to create one-of-a-kind collections. In 2017 Depiction Wines asked Jisbar to participate in their project and customize an exclusive batch of bottles from their 2014 vintage. They commissioned the inspiring artist to create an original painting. This painting was then hand cut into smaller pieces that were each numbered and turned into labels to adorn every wine bottle produced. For Jisbar, the many pieces of art emerging when cut from the original canvas give new importance to details that could have previously been hidden to the viewer’s eye and become artworks on their own. The very modern and sleek Depiction x Jisbar collection gave wine lovers the occasion to purchase a unique and exclusive limited-edition piece of art.
