Presented as an institutional solo show supported by the region of Lombardy, Timeless ICONS by Jisbar took place in one of Italy’s most symbolic historical sites: the Refettorio Monastico Polironiano in San Benedetto Po. Once part of Italy’s oldest monastic complex, the space—now a central cultural hub for the city—offered a striking backdrop, steeped in Renaissance history and featuring a reproduction of The Last Supper by Girolamo Bonsignori. From April 13 to May 11, Jisbar’s contemporary and expressive works entered into direct dialogue with this centuries-old setting, bridging heritage and modernity. The exhibition, curated by Sandie Zanini, featured over 25 artworks divided into three chapters. From iconic reinterpretations of Botticelli’s Venus and Michelangelo’s David, to tributes to Basquiat, Warhol, and Frida Kahlo, and finally to visual homages to pop and luxury culture—Jordan, Pulp Fiction, Ferrari, Rolex—each section explored the timeless power of icons across eras. By merging contemporary pop-street art with a sacred space of Italy’s artistic memory, Timeless ICONS offered a bold and immersive celebration of legacy, reinvention, and cultural resonance.
